Ireland

"May you always have walls for the winds, a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire,
laughter to cheer you, those you love near you, and all your heart might desire."
Irish Blessing

Ireland - a glorious, green, chilly, windy land that I dreamed about visiting for years. It was even better than I imagined it would be. I look forward to the day I can go back! The first half of the trip was spent with a group from my church - we went to Galway to work on the new church building for Discovery Church Galway. I spent most of the week painting baseboards, mudding drywall, and enjoying soup, sandwiches, and tea every day with the team. I am excited to go back someday to see the building completely finished, providing the space and more opportunities for the church to reach out to the city of Galway.

I am so thankful for all the people I met on this trip and the hilarious adventures that were had and all the breathtaking things I saw. I'm immensely grateful for my dear friend Rachel for flying to join me and adventure around the country with me for the second half of the trip. It looks like we're going to tell tales of this trip for years. In this post: Dublin, Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, & Doolin. My next post will be full of images from Northern Ireland!
